A Case Study

Josh has suffered from eczema since birth. Frequent visits to the dermatology unit at Warrington Hospital and a strict wet wrapping routine at home has helped to keep his flare ups under control, but bandaging can be a time consuming and distressing process for him.

As Josh celebrates his sixth birthday, his mum is delighted to have found a quicker, simpler and less traumatic way to wet wrap with new Tubifast Garments.

“His skin is the best it’s been in ages and I’m sure that’s a direct reflection of the new garments. They work just like bandages, but take less time to put on and are more comfortable for Josh. His skin is totally covered by the garments, which means the emollient stays on those difficult to reach places like underarms that tend to get missed in the old routine. He’s more confident in them because he can wear them under his clothes without anyone knowing – He’s less stressed by having to put them on and wear them to school and that has had an amazing effect on his skin. He thinks garments are great!”
