I wanted to let you all that I have eczema over 80% of my body. *taking a bow* Thank you, thank you, you're too kind... Well, I've taken my itching from a 12 (on a scale of 10) down to a .5 just by doing what is known as "dry brushing". I'm copying a link into this msg. with the hopes that somebody will get the same relief I have experienced. It's not something that works over night...but if you're like me you'll see/feel improvements within a wk or so. I do it daily & the trick is to keep the dead skin cells to a minimun, by brushing. But enough about me...talking you to 'death'. Here's the link: http://www.racingsmarter.com/skin_brushing.htm (It's a lengthy read but worth it!) Best of luck...and one more thing...I don't use as much of my topicals, anymore. Try-it-and-leave-it-alone was one of my best friends. *smile*

I have often had flare ups if i have been cuddling my cats and their fur react badly with eczma on my neck, which i cannot stop scratching!
I find if i get a cold damp flannel and just hold it against my neck for about 10mins then it soon calms down.

Aloe vera gel can help to reduce itching. You can use the gel straight from the plant by breaking a leaf off - you need to use the variety Aloe Barbadensis Miller. Hope that helps and good luck.
