Stats wanted for dry skin sufferers in the UK

Hi there -- I'm doing some research into dry skin and dry skin sufferers, and have been looking for some credible statistics on how many people in the UK suffer from dry skin. It seems simple enough, but I can't find anything. I was hoping someone might be able to point me in the direction of either some published studies or research by a trusted organisation, such as BAD or someone similar. Many thanks, Jay

Are you talking about general dry skin or eczema? There is a big difference. I suffer with dry skin and its not a huge problem but my son whi is 3 in October suffers with atopic eczema and that is a completely different story. The intense itch drives him crazy when his eczema flares. Luckily we now found a good routine that works and gets his flares under control quickly.
