Psoriasis - Help!!

I've had two patches of Psoriasis on my forearms for a couple of years now which are constantly ina flare up die down cycle. I use e45 as a moisturiser but this doesn't seem to do much. Can anyone recommend anything to help? Thanks, James

you would probably get a better result with a greasier preparation i.e. Aveeno, diprobase ointment,soft white paraffin /liquid paraffin 50/50,or epaderm (all are moisturisers)
tar preparations if tolerated would help clear the psoriasis eg. alphosyl, GP would need to prescribe
