The file is approximately 7Mb and could take a few minutes to download on a 56k modem. But Mini-Mayor will probably arrive more quickly, and will download in a fraction of this time, if you have a fast connection.

How do I install Mini-Mayor?
Installing Mini-Mayor is very easy. Just click on the download link opposite, and then chose to save it in a convenient place (either My Documents or Desktop).
Find the file you have saved and then open it. If you can’t find the file, search for 'Steele.msi' using 'Find' from the Windows 'Start' button at the bottom left of the screen.
Once you have located this file, double-click on it and follow the on-screen instructions.

I have opened the file and installed it. What now?
The icon will have been automatically installed into your 'start-up' directory and will be launched each time you start your system. A short-cut will also have been created on your desktop and within your 'Start' menu under 'programs/skincareword'.
To launch the Mini-Mayor icon for the first time simply double-click on the short-cut on your desktop.

How do I close Mini-Mayor?
Simply left-click on the character, select 'Other' from the pop-up menu and then 'Exit'. This will close Mini-Mayor until you either re-launch it from the desktop shortcut or start/re-start your PC.

How do I uninstall Mini-Mayor
To uninstall Mini-Mayor, open your Windows 'Start' Menu (bottom-right hand corner), select 'Settings', then select 'Control Panel'.
This will launch the Control Panel window. After a few moments this window will show all the programs installed on your PC. Scroll though this list until you find the program 'Mayor Chris Steele'. Click on this program and then select 'Remove' and follow the on-screen instructions.
This will remove all elements associated with the Mini-Mayor icon from your PC.

Is Mini-Mayor safe to use?
He is completely safe and secure. The file doesn't contain any spyware and your privacy is completely respected. If you are still worried, then Mini-Mayor is easy to uninstall.

Is there a version for Apple Macs?
Unfortunately not. We are sorry about this, but we are unable to provide a Mac version of the Mini-Mayor. This might change in the future if there is sufficient demand and the technology can be developed.
